Not only am I new to blogging, but to stamping and Copic markers as well.  Our anniversary was coming up, so I made my husband this card with Edwin on the front. He's colored with Copics, and I even put flowers on it. :)    It was the sentiment stamp that inspired me to make this card, which I gave to my husband this past Saturday - our 28th anniversary.

The sentiment stamp said,
Look in Your Mirror and you will see The Only One in the World for me.

I loved it, and so did he. :)

The papers I used were Bazzil and Basic Grey, I added brown flowers and pearls as embellishments.
It was a quiet anniversary, coffee in the morning - he gave me the most beautiful flowers and a gift certificate for a manicure and pedicure.  I gave Ron a box of his favorites from See's candies. Alissa and Daren gave us gift cards for dinner at Red Lobster, which we will enjoy.

It was a hectic Tuesday at work today, but tomorrow marks the half way point - we'll make it to the weekend yet!
Welcome to my blog!  I'm new at this, so hopefully things will come through as they're supposed to.  As so many others, I really enjoy spending my free moments creating. Whether it be an image, via my camera, a scrapbook page to display said image, or stamping and coloring with my Copics - my newest addiction. I've got a great husband, who encouraged me to set up a room just for that purpose.  He and my son, Derek, worked so hard, so I think it's only appropriate to start my blog by showing off the room they helped to bring to reality.

Here's the table that is my workspace, I love it. We picked it up at a local consignment shop.  Ron and I had lots of fun looking around for what to put in my new craft space.

We picked up the huge storage cabinet from an ad on Craig's List. It had been used for fabric storage and is perfect for holding a ton of crafting tools, and almost anything else I can think of.  Of course, the room wouldn't have been complete without a guest table so...Ron found this one at a different consignment shop for the whopping sum of $30.00, did a little refinishing and I'm ready for company.

One more thing, you may have noticed the two navy blue dog beds under the table  in the first picture.  Those are for my "girls" Zoe (on left) and Missy - they love to snooze while I'm hard at playing.
Thanks for taking a minute to checkout my Blog. More to come...
