I have been mostly coloring, and not making too many cards lately. I really enjoy the coloring, it's so relaxing. I colored this Tilda awhile ago, but made the card a short time ago and wanted to share.  My friends and I all enjoy shopping, hence...

I used Copics to color her, and also used them to color the little pearls to match.  I love these markers, you can do so much with them!

I had to post a Tilda, it may be a while before I have another to show. :) We are in the middle of a D-I-Y project (putting in laminate floors, after all tile comes out) as you see:
That is my daughter, Alissa. Yesterday, she and her husband, Daren, were over helping get the tile up. She can really swing a sledge hammer.  Below is a shot of what the living room looks like...
It's a dusty, dirty mess for sure and will be that way for awhile, I think.  Almost all of the tile is up, but now we have to get the stuff they used to lay it off the concrete, so that the floor is level.  I would like to move out and just come back when it's done. LOL!  In the meantime, this is what the scraproom looks like, not a surface to work on. *Smile* I imagine it will stay that way for awhile too.

Ah well, it'll be worth it in the end.  I hope...  :)  Have a great Sunday everyone!
I won't win the blogger of the year award, should there be such a thing. I'm amazed at how much time has gone by since I decided to start a blog and put my first couple of posts up. It's been busy, that's for sure.

In September was fortunate enough to take a Copic certification class (what fun!). I still have lots to learn, but really enjoyed it.  The instructor, Jennie, was terrific, and covered so much information.  I realized how much I have to practice and continue to learn.

October came and went, evidently with no fanfare, which can definitely be a good thing.  At the beginning of November, went to the Scrapbook Expo, and had loads of fun.  Of course, spent too much money, but found some great deals. I added to the Copic collection... but there were no Magnolia stamps to be found. We stayed for the crop, and I found out that my DF is great at the hula hoop!  Presenting the champ, doing her hula hoop best:

Good times!
